A student must finish the requirements of a course or program within the maximum period prescribed to complete the program.
The maximum residency rule for completion of a degree is inclusive of leaves of absence.
The maximum residency rule for the different degree programs are:
Associate in Arts 7 years (Batch 1998 to 2003 – not stipulated that they are covered by MRR)
BA Multimedia Studies - 8 years
Diploma in Science Teaching - 5 years
Other Degree Programs:
Diploma Program - 4 years
Master's Program - 7 years
PhD - 10 years
Doctor of Communication - 10 years
If the student has not completed yet his/her degree within the required period of time, the student should make a letter of request to waive his/her MRR through his/her Faculty Office(this can be done through email). This request is subject for the evaluation of the Program Chair and the Dean.
