- Make sure you have soft copies of the required documents ready.

- Signed hard copy of the application form generated from the Online Application System.

Original copy of the Official Transcript of Records (OTR)
- For the Professional Teaching Certificate program, photocopy of the OTR only.
- Original copy of birth certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
- Send the hard copies of the mentioned documents to this address.

If you are a UPOU alumnus or a former UPOU Student applying for admission to a new degree program, please access the online application system through the Student Portal (https://our.upou.edu.ph/student). Please do not create a new OAS account.

The enhanced Online Application System (OAS) is now available for Second Semester/Trimester AY 2026–2027 applications.

Use the new OAS if:
- You are applying for the Second Semester/Trimester AY 2026–2027, beginning 7 August 2026.
- You have a draft or incomplete application in the old OAS and have not yet mailed your hard-copy requirements. Please submit a new application through the new OAS.
- You are a UPOU alumnus or former student applying to a new program for Second Semester/Trimester AY 2026–2027. You will need to create a new account in the new OAS.
Continue using the old OAS if:
- You have already submitted your application for Second Semester/Trimester AY 2026–2027 through the old OAS and have mailed your hard-copy requirements.
- You applied for First Semester/Trimester AY 2026–2027. Continue monitoring your application and admission status through the old OAS.

UP Open University (UPOU) offers admission to degree programs in the Undergraduate, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters, and Doctorate levels. Associate and Certification programs are also offered in UPOU. Admission to UPOU is open to the following:
- Philippine-based and offshore-based applicants
- Foreign nationals
- Undergraduate transfer students (from another UP unit or university to UPOU)
Any person seeking admission into a program must satisfy the minimum admission requirement specified in the program applied for and must not be a current student (enrolled, on residency, LOA, AWOL) of another university or college.
