ENROLLMENT SCHEDULEHere is the registration schedule for the Second Trimester/Semester of SY 2024-2025:
- For Second Semester AY 2024-2025, 13-18 January 2025
- For Second Trimester AY 2024-2025, 27 January - 1 February 2025
- Complete your registration and payment within the designated periods; access to the Online Registration System (ORS) will be restricted afterward.
- Make sure the courses you enroll in are part of your approved study plan. For courses outside your study plan, obtain approval from your Program Chair first, before enrolling.
- Newly Admitted Students:
- New and transfer students officially admitted to UPOU degree programs
- Continuing Students:
- Students who were enrolled in the previous term
- Students returning from an official Leave of Absence (LOA)
- Readmitted students
- Cross-Enrollees:Non-Degree Students:
- Students from other UP or non-UP units approved for cross-enrollment at UPOU
- Students not enrolled in a UPOU program but with an approved non-degree application before the enrollment period.
Students who were absent without leave (AWOL) in the previous term must first apply for readmission. You may enroll only after your readmission application has been approved by your Faculty of Study.

ONLINE APPLICATION FOR UNDERLOADING/OVERLOADING
A. Underloading
Starting the Second Trimester of 2024-2025, all undergraduate students – including those in the Associate in Arts (AA), Associate of Science in Instructional Design and Technology (ASIDT), Associate of Science in Information Technology (ASIT), Associate of Arts in Digital Design and Art (AADDA), Associate of Arts in Digital Entrepreneurship (AADE), Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies (BAMS), and Bachelor of Education Studies (BES) programs — must apply for underloading if enrolling in fewer than 12 units of courses (excluding PE and CWTS).
B. Overloading
Students (Associate, Bachelor, Diploma, Certificate, Master, and PhD degree programs) enrolling in more units than the prescribed regular load (12 units for undergraduate programs and 6 units for most graduate programs) must apply for overloading.'
C. Application periods for overloading and underloading
The online application for overloading and underloading will be accessible one week before the start of the registration period:
- For Second Semester AY 2024–2025, accessibility will begin on 6 January 2025
- For Second Trimester AY 2024-2025, accessibility will begin on 20 January 2025
- Log in to the Online Registration System (ORS) via the Student Portal.
- Select the course(s) you want to enroll in.
- If applying for underloading or overloading:
- Complete the form and state your reasons.
- Upload the required documents (for underloading).
4. Finalize your enrollment in the ORS based on the decision on your application.

REMINDER FOR UPOU STUDENTS WITH PROVISIONAL STATUS:
Provisional students must submit a Transcript of Records (TOR) with valid remarks within one year of their first enrollment. Failure to comply will block access to the Online Registration System, preventing enrollment.
Submit the required documents to the Admissions Section before the registration period. For information about valid remarks, go to https://registrar.upou.edu.ph/tor-acceptable-remarks/

What if you have been blocked from the ORS?
If you are blocked from accessing the ORS, it means your one-year grace period has ended. To request enrollment for the term, email a promissory note to [email protected]. Include your target date for submitting the required valid TOR and proof that it is being processed.

The Office of the University Registrar observes timelines for processing requests.
- Transcript of Records
- First-time request: 21 working days upon receipt of payment (additional 2 weeks during peak season)
- Succeeding requests: 7 working days (additional five working days during peak season)
- Certifications and other requests
- Seven working days (an additional five working days during peak season)

Are you a UPOU alumnus or a former UPOU student planning to apply for admission to a new degree program? You may now access the online application system (OAS) through the Student Portal. Just click the OAS button, and you will be directed to the online application page.

ACCESS TO COURSE SITES
It is your responsibility as a student to ensure that you have the necessary access to the course site (MyPortal) for all the courses you enrolled in. The courses you enrolled in, as displayed in the AIMS-Student Portal and Form 5, should match the courses enlisted on your MyPortal page.
